DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE invests in public charging infrastructure
Electromobility is becoming increasingly important, and with it the demand for publicly accessible charging facilities.
To meet this demand, DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE puts two public e-car charging stations into operation this autumn, including a 50 kW fast charging station. In addition, three charging points were installed in the company car park for the exclusive use of employees. After free charging facilities for e-bikes were created last year, employees can now also charge their electric cars with electricity at a reduced rate.
“More and more people are focussing on electromobility and want to charge their vehicle easily during working hours or when visiting. With the charging stations, we are making a further contribution to more sustainable transport options,” explains Dr Martin Siebert, Technical Director at DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE.
Britta Suderburg, Mayor of the joint municipality of Lachendorf, also supports this development: “I am very pleased about DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE's commitment to further expanding the charging infrastructure in our joint municipality. Every additional charging station is a benefit for our citizens and increases the attractiveness of our region. This investment makes a valuable contribution to strengthening electromobility in Lachendorf and creates important added value for our joint municipality.”
With a total of five charging stations and 10 charging points, including two fast charging points, DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE promotes sustainable mobility and relies on green electricity directly from Lachendorf. This investment underlines the company's commitment to an environmentally friendly future.
