Our Aim

The fact that plastic products pose a growing burden on the environment has shaken up consumers and politics. Many people are currently addressing the question of how to restructure the handling of plastics and plastic waste.

DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE is also focusing on this topic. Our approach is to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly papers that are fit to replace plastic products. The aim is not a stigmatization of plastics in general, but a replacement of plastics by paper wherever it is reasonable and possible.

From Lachendorf to the World – DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE Receives the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award 2026

Lachendorf, April 23, 2026 – The family-owned company DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE has reason to celebrate: it has been awarded the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Award 2026 in the “Large Companies” category. The award was presented by Minister Grant Hendrik Tonne at the Lower Saxony Foreign Trade Day in Hanover.

DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE increases prices for specialty papers effective April 1, 2026

Lachendorf, March 11, 2026 – Due to rising raw material costs, DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE increases prices for its uncoated woodfree specialty papers. The adjustment will range between 6–9 percent depending on the product segment and will apply to deliveries from April 1, 2026.
