DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE plans expansion of warehouse capacity

DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE announces the expansion of its warehouse and dispatch facility. This €4.5 million investment will enable more finished goods to be stored onsite in the future. Construction is due to commence in autumn 2024.

The planned expansion of 3,000 m² of storage space will eliminate the need for additional transport to an external warehouse in Celle, and thus minimise the risk of handling and transit damage. Dr Matthias Rauhut, CEO of DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE, emphasises: "We are making our production more sustainable and fit for future requirements at all levels. In addition to generating electricity from renewable energies and continuously improving the energy efficiency of our machines, we are not only reducing truck traffic, but also our CO2 emissions by expanding the storage capacity directly at the plant."
