DREWSEN’s handling of the Corona Virus

At DREWSEN, the health and safety of our employees remains our top priority.

Due to the care and diligence of our workforce, DREWSEN remains “Covid-free” allowing us to maintain our working practices and operate at full productivity since the outbreak of the pandemic.

DREWSEN continues to monitor national and local infection rates which enables us to implement the necessary response. Although infection rates in our region are much lower than other areas within the EU, the distance and hygiene requirements introduced at Lachendorf for all employees and third party visitors, have been tightened.

With effect from 2nd half of October, the requirement to wear mouth and nose coverings was introduced for all employees and visitors to the mill. They are required to be worn in corridors, foyers, canteens and wherever the minimum distance of 1.5 m cannot be maintained. Other measures such as home working, adequate ventilation, compliance with social distancing and hygiene rules, and the reduction in visitor numbers and travel traffic, are already in place and consistently implemented.

The supply of raw materials and deliveries of all paper grades to our customers remains unaffected.
