For DREWSEN, like many other paper mills, the manufacture of its uncoated woodfree specialty paper grades is an energy-intensive process.
Although specific consumption levels have been reduced significantly over recent years through continuous improvements and investments in energy-efficient technology, the unprecedented increase in the cost of natural gas has had a profound effect on DREWSEN.
As an established and committed supplier, DREWSEN endeavours to minimise the impact of increased costs on our long-term partners wherever possible.
However, due to these dramatic increases in conjunction with historically high pulp prices, it is necessary for us to apply a significant adjustment in sales prices for all deliveries from 1st January 2022.
