DREWSEN’s Competence Center for Straw Production: We want to find solutions! For you and for us!
Finding the right solution for every paper straw demand is not always easy. There are many parameters influencing the interaction between paper, machine, and glue, but these parameters are largely unknown.
DREWSEN is committed to shedding light on this triangle (paper, machine, glue) and has therefore established a Competence Center for Paper Straw Production.
We unite the expertise in paper making and straw making under one roof in order to develop the best straw paper for the market.
This puts us in the position to consider, and systematically investigate, the whole production chain. The Competence Center has been FSSC 22000 certified (GFSI standard).
Our aim is to find solutions! Solutions for:
- optimized paper quality
- ideal paper straw setup for all segments: Fast Food/ Quick Service, HoReCa, Retail, Industrial
- optimized runnability properties for high output
- cost optimization
- eco-friendly straw design
To understand the market needs and provide the right solutions we rely on a close and open cooperation with all market participants. This includes glue suppliers, machine suppliers and straw manufacturers. You are welcome to visit the Competence Center and to work with us together on continuous development and market challenges!
