EcoVadis Gold Medal for DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE
DREWSEN SPEZIALPAPIERE has been awarded a gold medal by EcoVadis in 2022, placing it
among the top 5% of the 90,000 companies evaluated worldwide. This means that the
previous year's performance, when we were awarded a silver medal, has improved once
again. The result reflects our continued and on-going efforts in the areas of corporate social
responsibility and sustainability.
In the environment category, we improved by an impressive 10 % compared to the previous rating. Amongst other things, the expansion of our wastewater treatment and the monitoring of our greenhouse gas balance (Corporate Carbon Footprint Report newly prepared by Climate Partner) made a significant contribution to this.
In the areas of labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement, we were able to
maintain or stabilise our level which was already deemed to be quite high.
We are extremely proud of this result and are delighted that with this rating we can continue to present ourselves to customers and partners alike as both a sustainably conscious and reliable partner.
